Jokes on Chiru party

The inordinate delay on the part of megastar Chiranjeevi in launching his political party is causing frustration, not among his fans and political leaders who want to join him, but among mediapersons.

So much so that they have started spinning jokes on Chiru’s indecisive nature. A Telugu TV channel has telecast a satire, in which Chiru gives a call to all the youngsters to come out and fight against corruption and other evils in the society. The satire ends up in saying that the youngsters might turn old, if Chiru continues to delay his political plans.

Another joke is doing rounds in the journalists’ circle: Chiranjeevi went to his native village the other day and thanked his mother for giving birth to him on August 22. And that has come in handy for him to delay the launch of his party till August 22. Had his birthday been in June or July, Chiru would have to hurry up things, which he doesn’t want. Will he pick up courage at least in August?

Pavan Kalyan - Politics

Pavan could understand that as a brother he has got lot of things to contribute. So far Chiru elder brother Nagababu used to participate actively in politics, from now on we will be seeing Pavan Kalyan as well actively moving along with his siblings in politics. On the whole its heard that Pavan would be helping his brother externally and would not enter into politics directly is the news according to reliable sources.

Kamal wants his 11th Avatar as Chiru

Multi Talented Star Kamal Hassan was in Hyderabad as part of promotion of his recently released flick 'Dashavatharam' in which he played in 10 different roles and attained new title as Loka Nayakudu. Reacting to Chiranjeevi's political entry, Kamal stated that I have to make my 11th Avatar for Chiru and continued to say that he is my good friend and I wish him all the best for his upcoming venture (politics).

Chiru is everybody's man - Chiru Dalita Sena

Chiru - Dalita sena got annoyed with the statements given by Minister Geetha Reddy, they stated that Chiru is not taking an entry based on one segment, he has not become Megastar with just a community support, he has become Megastar when he is supported by all segments and sections of people in society was sated by Chiru Dalita Sena Chairman Lankapalli Ramesh. He stated that Geeta Reddy should know what is her community and from where she comes. Once Chiru announces his party, minorities, kapus, BC's and other sections of people are sure to join into Chiru party. Congress leaders are making such unbecoming statements just because of the fear they have with Chiranjeevi though they are not spelling out their fears.

Chiranjeevi's entry into politics ruffles many feathers

Hyderabad: The Telugu film industry or Tollywood as it's popularly called is synonymous with stars like Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh and Tabu. It's an industry that's considered a trendsetter in the South - experimental with themes yet largely trapped within the star syndrome.

The Telugu film industry is biggest amongst its southern counterparts and is the second largest in the country with an average of 230 releases a year. Like in Bollywood it's big budget projects cost anything between Rs 20-40 crore and average box-office collections range between Rs 25-50 crore depending on the films success.
One man who has consistently ruled the box office ever since he entered Tollywood three decades ago is 'megastar' Chiranjeevi or Chiru as he is fondly called.

His movies rake in millions at the box-office and his fans fanatically revere the star. But it's more than just his big screen charm that has given Chiru this demigod status.

"He is such a good dancer," a Chiru fan says while another fan adds, "He is involved in many social service projects- like eye bank, blood bank." And all his social service has earned the star another demand from his fans- to join politics. And it looks like he is going to answer their prayers

"He will announce his political entry in the month of August. If he… when he announces a party, so, he has to concentrate to float a party. So, he has to work a lot. So, for the time being, he may stop acting. But, it is only for the time being," actor and Chiru's brother Nagendra Babu says. And Chiru's imminent entry into politics has already ruffled feathers in political circles.
After all NTR's success cannot easily be forgotten and Chiru's name is also synonymous with social service.
It's a heady cocktail when politics and movies merge and with Chiru scripting a grand entry into politics, it's clear that Tollywood never ceases to entertain.

Nagababu clarifies on his statements

Chiranjeevi brother Nagababu recently was in Prakasham district and participated in a program, later he spoke to media and stated that our people are habituated to divide and rule policy of Britishers but staying united is always better.
